Cash4Kids is the official charity of Radio Aire. Did you know that they raised £1.3 million in 2015? This money and support helped over 87,000 of Leeds and West Yorkshires neediest children!

This amazing charity operates across 21 areas around the UK and every year raises millions of pounds for children who may have been the victims of abuse or neglect. Or for those with disabilities, additional needs and need some extra care or guidance.

The donation money is raised by bringing the community together to participate in fundraising events that undergo on and off air. Individuals, groups, schools and companies are encouraged to join in, have some fun and offer a helping hand to our local children, who need it.

This money will go towards buying specialist equipment to enhance the quality of life for these children, which Simon Macbeth is very keen to help. This equipment will then be given to children’s charities and organisations so they can start projects and new initiatives so that essential care and support can continue to be provided through much needed services.

Radio Aire created this charity as they wanted to support our community’s children, as they believe they should be able to live life to the full, achieve their potential and have equal opportunities. Generous donations made go towards bringing hope, happiness and healing to these children.

Our Donation

Every year we, Simon Macbeth and Roundhay Web Design, raise money for Radio Aires Cash4Kids, as we love to contribute to great causes! This year in May we held a charity auction where we donated a £1000 web design package. This auction was sold for £355 to a generous woman in Leeds.
